Your Voyage Awaits: Step into a world where the ocean is your backyard. The spacious master bedroom, a serene sanctuary with a king-sized bed, opens to a private balcony offering breathtaking ocean views. In the guest room, twin bunk beds and a queen-sized bed promise restful nights after days filled with adventure. The guest room also boasts its own spacious balcony for relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. TVs equipped with cable are in each bedroom.
A Touch of Elegance: Both bathrooms have been fully remodeled, featuring granite and marble countertops, as well as modern finishes. Downstairs, the newly remodeled kitchen, with its exotic quartzite granite countertops, all new white cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, is fully stocked with new dishes, kitchenware, and ready to enjoy.
Seamless Living: The open-concept living area, merging kitchen, dining, and family rooms, is your space for making memories. Comfortable seating, a deep oversized couch, a large-screen TV, and views of palm trees and beach dunes create an ambiance of relaxed luxury. The back sliding glass doors open to a nice tile patio with ample outdoor seating where you can walk right onto the lush grass yard. Only a few steps away from the boardwalk that takes you straight to the beach.

Our Story
Hey there! We're Michael and Kim Goldsborough, along with our three daughters, Ellie, Olivia, and Rosie. We are happily settled living in Knoxville, TN, but we’ve always dreamt about having our own beach spot. Throughout our 15 years of marriage, we've loved exploring different beaches, from Massachusetts to Florida, always keeping an eye out for that perfect place that feels just right for us.
We're definitely Atlantic Ocean people. Our family loves everything about it - playing in the waves, boogie boarding, building sandcastles,, splashing in the tide pools that form on the wide beaches, collecting seashells, and riding bikes on the firmer sand of the East Coast. After a trip to Disney World in 2023, we decided to wind down with a few days at the beach and stumbled upon St. Augustine. It was an instant connection.
Our first day there playing on the beach was amazing, and we quickly found our favorite spot, the Beachcomber. It’s a super laid-back spot right on the beach with delicious food and cocktails with a great vibe where you can sink your toes in the sand and hang out with your dog at your feet…it’s just the best. That's when we knew. St. Augustine Beach was our place. We started looking at properties and fell in love with the townhouse that we we came to own and name, Anchors Aweigh.
That evening's walk through downtown St. Augustine, with its beautiful cobblestone streets and quaint shops, just sealed the deal for us. We made a mental list of all the places we wanted to visit again. We had no idea then that we'd end up buying the townhouse, but we knew we'd be back.
After spending a day looking at other properties, our hearts kept coming back to Anchors Aweigh. And now, it's ours. It's more than just a beach place; it's a part of our family's story. We're thrilled to have a home in America's oldest city, a place full of history and charm, not to mention the fantastic beach and all the places in walking distance like mini golf, ice cream shops, Island Donut, the neatest coffee shop The Kookaburra, the pier, great local restaurants, and of course, the Beachcomber. We're so excited to create more memories here and can't wait to share this hidden gem with you all! St. Augustine, here we come, again and again!
